LoloBuy returns and refunds: act before parcel shipping

A return is easiest to investigate while an item is still identifiable at the warehouse. This guide separates the right to request a return from seller approval, refund processing and problems discovered after international dispatch.

A LoloBuy return and refund is not one button that reverses every stage of a China-agent order. The original marketplace seller supplies the product, LoloBuy purchases it for the buyer, the seller sends it to LoloBuy’s warehouse, and the buyer later creates an international parcel. A problem discovered at each stage has a different practical remedy. The strongest return opportunity normally exists after warehouse arrival but before packaging instructions or international shipping make the item harder to send back.

The most important published deadline is much shorter than LoloBuy’s advertised warehouse-storage periods. LoloBuy’s official return procedure says an eligible application should be submitted within five days of the item reaching stored status. The same page makes clear that an application is not automatic approval: the product must meet return conditions and the marketplace seller still has to accept the request. Good return planning therefore begins with fast inspection, specific evidence and a written timeline—not with an assumption that free storage creates a long cooling-off period.

1. Identify the stage before choosing an action

Start by locating the item in the workflow. Before LoloBuy has purchased it, the useful action may be an order correction or cancellation request, subject to the live order status. After the seller has dispatched it within China, stopping the order may depend on whether the seller and carrier can still intercept it. Once the item is stored, the official warehouse return procedure becomes relevant. After it has been included in an international parcel, the seller-return route may no longer be practical.

Do not describe all four situations as a refund request. Record the LoloBuy order number, current status and time of the status change, then ask for the remedy that matches the stage. This makes a support message actionable and prevents a warehouse return rule from being incorrectly applied to a parcel that has already left China.

2. Preserve the original seller listing before it changes

Save the original Taobao, Weidian, 1688 or other marketplace page before paying. Keep the product title, selected variation, color, labeled size, quantity, seller promises and any visible return conditions. A spreadsheet row is useful for discovery, but it cannot preserve a seller page that is later edited, removed or replaced. The original listing is the clearest record of what LoloBuy was asked to buy.

Also save the LoloBuy order confirmation and any note submitted with the order. If the received item is a different color or model, the useful comparison is not a memory of the spreadsheet thumbnail. It is the source listing, the selected option, the LoloBuy order record and the warehouse evidence viewed together.

3. Review QC as soon as the item reaches stored status

Warehouse arrival should trigger a decision, not passive waiting. Open every available QC photograph and read any inspection or abnormal-status note. Compare visible style, color, quantity, model and labeled size with the order. Look for obvious damage, missing pieces and packaging problems. Standard photographs can document visible facts, but they cannot guarantee fit, authenticity, complete function or the condition of every concealed surface.

If the evidence does not answer an essential question, request the specific additional view or measurement available through the live service. General messages such as ‘please check quality’ are difficult to resolve. A request such as ‘photograph the size label and the scratch on the left side’ ties the concern to evidence that a seller can evaluate.

4. Treat five days as the working application window

LoloBuy’s official return procedure says the order must have reached stored status and the return application should be made within five days of the storage date. That published period is the window for submitting an eligible request; it should not be rewritten as a promise that the seller will approve the return or that money will reach the buyer within five days.

Record the stored date as soon as it appears and set a personal deadline earlier than day five. Leave time to review QC, explain the mismatch and answer a support question. If the account shows a different item-specific deadline or status, preserve that screen and ask LoloBuy which rule applies to the order. Live order evidence is more useful than an undated community screenshot.

5. Check eligibility before expecting seller approval

The official procedure says the product must support an unconditional return or exchange and remain in a condition that does not affect the seller’s ability to resell it. It also says the seller’s acceptance is not guaranteed. Those conditions matter because LoloBuy is acting between the overseas buyer and the original marketplace seller; LoloBuy cannot responsibly be described as granting a universal return right for every third-party listing.

Before applying, identify the reason accurately: wrong seller item, visible defect, missing component, incorrect option, or a preference change. Do not turn uncertainty about fit or authenticity into a claim that QC proved a defect. If the issue is visible, point to the exact image. If it is not visible, say what remains unknown and ask what evidence or service is available.

6. Build a return file that another person can understand

Keep one compact evidence file for the item: source URL or saved listing, seller terms, LoloBuy order number, warehouse item number, stored date, QC images, written warehouse note, return application and support replies. Add a one-sentence requested outcome, such as return to seller for refund or exchange for the ordered size. A chronological record is more persuasive than several disconnected screenshots.

Use the same identifiers in every message. When several products from the same order reach the warehouse, state which item has the problem rather than asking to return the whole order. This reduces the risk that an accepted item is delayed or that evidence for two different products is mixed together.

7. Do not remove packaging before the return decision

LoloBuy’s July 14 value-added-services announcement says Remove Packaging can discard original boxes or bags and Remove Shoe Boxes can reduce product weight and volume. The same official notice contains a decisive warning: after original packaging is removed, the goods cannot be returned or exchanged. Packaging removal may be useful for a bulky parcel, but it belongs after QC and acceptance—not before them.

Keep packaging when it contains a model label, serial information, protective structure or other evidence needed to show what the seller supplied. If a box adds unwanted volume, wait until the return question is closed before requesting removal. A possible freight saving is not worth destroying a current return option.

8. Keep the item out of a parcel while the request is open

Do not include a disputed warehouse item in an international parcel merely because other products are ready. Parcel submission, packing and dispatch move the goods away from the seller-return workflow and can create a second logistics problem. Ship the accepted items separately when a pending return would otherwise hold the whole group past another item’s storage or shipping deadline.

The choice is operational rather than a promise that splitting will be cheaper. A separate parcel can create another first-weight charge and tracking record. Compare the live route results, but keep the decision hierarchy clear: resolve whether the product should be kept before optimizing how it should be shipped.

9. Separate return approval from refund processing

A return request asks whether the item may go back to the seller. Seller acceptance, warehouse dispatch back to the seller, seller receipt and refund processing are later events. Do not mark the case finished when support says only that an application was submitted. Track each status and keep the returned-item reference until the account shows the financial result.

This guide does not promise a refund amount, refund destination or processing time because those details can depend on the seller decision, order deductions, payment channel and live account rules. Compare the credited amount with the original transaction and ask for an itemized explanation when they differ. Never publish one successful case as a universal timetable.

10. Treat problems after international dispatch differently

Once a parcel has shipped internationally, a wrong or damaged product is no longer a simple warehouse return. Preserve the parcel number, carrier history, exterior packaging, shipping label and a continuous opening record where practical. Photograph the condition before discarding packing material and match the delivered contents to the warehouse parcel list.

Report the problem through LoloBuy’s official account or support route with the order and parcel identifiers. Ask which after-sales process applies instead of assuming the warehouse five-day rule covers international loss, transit damage or a delivery dispute. Carrier responsibility, seller responsibility and warehouse evidence are different questions, and the available remedy must be confirmed for the actual case.

11. Use the result to improve the next order

The practical LoloBuy return strategy is simple: preserve the listing, inspect immediately at storage, submit a specific eligible request within the published window, keep original packaging, do not ship a disputed item, and follow the case until the financial result appears. That process does not guarantee approval, but it protects the evidence and decisions that a credible request needs.
